Parisonic

Parisonic is the annual event we propose to report on the contemporary sonic creation. Around a line of research, around converging artistic practices, Purepresence works with the appropriate place for the exhibition and diffusion of works of artists that we select.

In 2010, Parisonic Environments addresses the opened space, outside, with artworks realized from field recordings and related practices or site-specific installations.

In 2011, Parisonic Hear & Now addresses the constructed space, the exhibition place. A common curating of Eric la Casa, Philip Samartzis and Philippe F. Roux gathers 27 Australian and French artists in an exhibition and the listening room.

In 2012, Parisonic presents procedural, conceptual and sensible works, from a selection of international artists. Sonic works are exhibited in the Chambre Sonore (Sonic room) in Gaîté Lyrique in september.
